We stayed at Hostel Jufa, which was the best accommodation so far and more like a hotel than a hostel. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was multi-faceted and delicious. The hostel also provided a good wifi-connection but only in the lobby. The hostel was near the old town and almost everything was within walking distance.
Salzburg's old town had many shopping streets for those with stacks of money and also for the ones who don't want to pay 50 euros for a t-shirt. The prices were the same as in Finland but the food in the restaurants was cheaper if you were lucky to find one.
