Salzburg & Königssee

Salzburg, what a great town it is! Very beautiful with its breathtaking Alp scenery and awesome sights. A great place for tourists who want to experience and see the culture of Austria at its very best. We really enjoyed our visit in Salzburg and had a great time.

We arrived in Salzburg at half past six and had free time to get to know the town. We walked around the town as a big group and visited the new and old town. Everyone took a lot of photos. We ate in a pizzeria called il Centro and the food was excellent.

On the second day Juha gave us a task to visit some of the most significant sights. We had a list of ten destinations and we had to find them using a map. Our favourite sights were Mirabell square and St. Sebastian's church. We left the hotel at 10 am and got back at 5 pm and we could feel it in our legs. We also looked around in shops. It was a long and fun day!

On the third and last day in Salzburg we got up early and went through the German border to Lake Königssee for a cruise to see the Alps closer. The surrounding nature was breathtaking and it was one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. Our cameras are full of photos taken there. In the evening we ate in a restaurant and enjoyed our time in Salzburg.
