Lomza, 6th May

The trip to Lomza was quite long, actually 520 kilometers, but after all we did have a few stops. We  stopped at the border of Lithuania and Poland, where we exchanged some euros to zlotys. One zloty was around 0.25 euros.

When we got to our motel, we were all really glad because it was a big upgrade to our last stay in Riga. The motel was much cleaner than the last one and the service was better in our view. In the evening we had dinner at the motel and breakfast in morning, it was good to see differences twoin foods between countries. If we gave a rating to the motel from one to four, we would give it two stars as it already had been rated for two stars.

We all had a free evening and some of us went sightseeing and some of us circled around the town. In all, Lomza was a really beautiful town and the church in town was the cherry on top of the cake.

The prices in Poland were much lower than in Finland and that was quite good for us, but there was a noticeable difference in the quality. Now we are heading towards Ostrava, the Czech republic. We think everybody was glad about our stay at Motel Zacisze.
